The award winning five star Hotel, which has just been awarded membership of the Leading Hotels of the World, has an exciting opportunity for a Demi Chef de Partie. The Hotel boasts two restaurants, one being awarded two rosettes and Conference & Banqueting facilities for over 200 people. There is an opportunity to excel in all areas.
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic individual with bags of personality and a mind bursting with ideas to contribute to join our team. If you're prepared to go the extra mile in your pursuit of quality, this role will be just to your taste. Preparing a wide range of interesting dishes spells the perfect opportunity to capitalise on your culinary expertise and organisational flair, whilst an enthusiastic team of Commis chefs will benefit from your ability to pass on your expertise. You will be responsible for the preparation and cooking of food to the high hotel standards, while maintaining a clean, safe and tidy work environment at all times. You should be able to work as part of a team as well as showing your own initiative. A passion for food is a must and you should be able to inspire others with your flair and individuality. Qualified to at least NVQ level 2 with at least 1 years experience in a similar role within a hotel restaurant or similar, applicants must be able to demonstrate an awareness of the standards required in a rosette-awarded restaurant and a 4/5 star hotel If you thrive on a welcoming and exciting environment and are passionate about food, service and the customer then this is the ideal place for you to work.
