Our client is now seeking to strengthen its production team in the electrical build and assembly areas. This position involves the build up and wiring of power load banks, engine test equipment and associated control gear. The work is varied and interesting, working on different products. The workshop is modern and well equipped to current industrial Standards
You must be a trained LV electrical technician to NVQ level 3, or equivalent, with experience of panel building work, or similar related mechanical and electrical skills. We would expect applicants to have passed at least 5 GCSE's to grade C or better, including Maths, Science and English, or have an equivalent educational background, and have further appropriate vocational training and experience. You must be capable of working from drawings and technical documents. Most of the work is small volume of one-off production, and you must be able to do a neat and accurate job, with right-first-time completion. You will be part of a small team of energetic people, so the ability to work and mix with others is important, but you must also be resourceful and self-reliant. Monthly Bonus available after probation period. |
