Experienced IT hardware salesman required to work in the Alton area. The successful applicant will be responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities across all commercial sectors for the sale of IT hardware and IT Professional services.
Working closely with the existing sales team they will be responsible for isolating new leads, engaging with prospective customers to identify their needs and explore where the client can engage with the ultimate aim to secure new and incremental business. Strong relationship building and closing skills are critical to be successful in this role. Experience in working on short sales cycles is essential but without losing sight of the longer-term business opportunities within the customer base. The role requires the creation, execution and regular measurement of a territory management plan, marketing plan and agreed sales objectives.
