Our client are based in Crayford, Kent.
The candidate's key job function will be to provide accurate typesetting for a variety of forms, letters, envelopes and booklets. The position's core responsibility will be providing accurate typesetting services ensuring time and cost effective production. The Typesetter is responsible for performing a variety of functions in compliance with job specifications and company quality standards to meet departmental deadlines. Executes design, layout and typesetting projects accurately and effectively. Receives and manipulates files electronically. Schedules all work to meet departmental timeframe requirements. Responsibilities and Duties: General and Administrative Coordinate with Editorial Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates. Participate as a key player in the Editorial Team by supporting operations as needed. Communicate effectively with Managing Editor and Editorial team, as well as the Marketing Manager and sales team, when required. Communicate with clients, providing information updates and guidance on products. Will perform other duties as required. Typesetting Duties Perform all job orders according to work order/job ticket requirements. Able to scan and generate print-ready PDFs. Operate DTP equipment, scanner, laser and color printers, as needed. |
