My client, a world leading engineering company based in Dorset, are looking for a Sales Manager for their Power Department which are based in Poole.
The successful candidate for this role will be spending 50% of their time out of the office, and be responsible for identifying opportunities for new product sales for the company world-wide. You will be making regular visits to designated regions to close the sales on these new opportunities. Main duties: ·Identify opportunities for new product sales for the Company world-wide. ·Keep regular contact with boilermakers, end users and consultants to keep an eye on potential new business. ·Liaise regularly with agents, offices in areas to agree sales strategy/tactics. ·Using published prices design and estimate quotations for customers. ·Ensure a smooth handover to the Contracts Department of all orders. ·Provide a monthly sales forecast to the Sales Director. ·Plan and develop sales plans to meet sales targets set by the Sales Director. ·Be prepared to travel overseas to meet the requirements of the market. Essential skills/Experience ·Qualified to degree level in an Engineering discipline. ·Proven experience in selling capital equipment. ·Self-motivated and able to work without direction.
