Our client is an International Multidisciplinary Construction Consultancy who are currently seeking a Building Surveyor to join the team in their Newcastle office. The successful candidate will be expected to provide operational and management support on various facilities related projects throughout the North East of England and Scotland. The role will include:
Monitoring FM contracts on the client's behalf. Regular inspection of property condition with recommendations for improvements. Design and Project Management of adhoc small works across the client's property portfolio from inception to completion. Arrange, implement and control specialist surveys on behalf of the client including defining deliverables and time scales. Review reports for trend analysis, assessment of faults, compliance with statutes etc. Attend regular client and team meetings. Undertake internal reporting and client liaison. Applications are invited from computer literate individuals with knowledge of CAD software, excellent communication skills and either a relevant degree or equivalent qualification or a compensatory and demonstrable level of experience. Candidates with experience of multi site multi discipline projects would have an advantage as would those with a good understanding of DDA and Fire risk assessments under the 2006 Regulatory Reform Act. This role attracts a highly competitive level of remuneration. |
