My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to work supporting one side of their business. This being the design, supply and installation of innovative high-quality and low-maintenance water level control equipment for various applications, such as land drainage, flood alleviation/prevention, water control for conservation and control for water process and treatment.
Main function: To Control, Plan, Organise and Coordinate Contracts and Installations To act as Project Engineer on a multiple number of medium/large sized projects (value15K-400K) including multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring projects meet with the clients stated objectives and requirements, delivering to the time, costs and quality parameters agreed with the client. • To ensure that the technical content of all work carried out under his/her control is correct and fit for purpose, and carried out in accordance within agreed timescales and within agreed budgets. To be able to personally review all significant elements of the detailed design. • Responsible for the supervision of all staff under his/her control Mechanical Experience is essential (incl. basic hydraulics) Electrical experience is helpful (a lot of our water flow control equipment is electrically powered) Other roles: Consultant for my client regarding all technical problems the company or its subcontractors and suppliers are or may be faced with. In consultation and cooperation with the Team plan and execute the sales strategy. To sell and consult on all water flow control products supplied by my client. To liaise with the manufacturers / suppliers in consultation and cooperation with the Managing Director. |
