Job Description: Purchase Ledger Assistant - The Company

Formed in the 1980's, my client is one of the most renowned companies operating in their market today. Currently undergoing a period of expansion in what for most is a difficult market, my client is currently seeking a bright individual to augment and assist their growing team based near Christchurch.

Purchase Ledger Assistant - The Role

You will control the Bought Ledger; matching, batching and coding invoices, preparing supplier statements for approximately 200 live accounts and carrying out payment runs via BACs and cheque. You will also have the opportunity should you so wish, to become involved in the company's purchasing procedures; working closely with the buying department.

Purchase Ledger Assistant – The Candidate

Some purchase ledger experience would obviously be of great advantage but just as importantly you should be able to prioritise workload, possess a good eye for detail, have great organisational skills and the ability to problem solve. Good communication skills are also useful as is the desire to progress and make this role your own.
