Job Title: Telemarketing Advisor
Job Description: My client were founded in 1971, and are the leading designer and supplier of clothing to business and industry in over 110 countries. With a turnover in excess of £26 million, the company has been recognised as the pioneer of fashionable work wear, changing perceptions of uniforms from functional garments into fashionable, attractive and business enhancing products.
 
Operations are conducted from an award winning, specially commissioned building in Accrington where some 300 people are employed. The customer contact centre at Accrington has expanded during 2002 to incorporate Inbound Direct, Customer Care, Telemarketing and European Customer Care. Further expansion and a company focus to effectively manage, maintain and develop customer services has lead the need to recruit across all areas of the centre in early 2003.

The Role
The position is an excellent opportunities for target driven individuals, with a positive attitude together with a hunger to succeed, who enjoy working enthusiastically as part of a small team and are driven by the opportunity to earn results-based financial rewards. 
The main purpose of the role will be to contact warm prospects by telephone (who have already been contacted by direct mail), develop their interest in products and sell appropriate products to them over the telephone to achieve specific sales targets. You will be responsible for following up calls to prospects who have requested and received a catalogue but not placed an order to convert their previous interest into a sale. Also you will be making courtesy calls to new customers following their first order to ensure their experience exceeded their expectations and encouraging them to place a 2nd order. Contacting our best customers to continue to build their relationship with the brand, ensure they are happy with the service we are providing, establish a measure of customer satisfaction post order receipt and encourage them to place another order to increase annual spend and improve customer retention
