Job Title: Project Information Coordinator
Job Description: Under general direction form management the project infomation coordinator promotes and coordinates the most effective distribution of information and data throughout the project environment utilising current systems and systems technology and tools.

Aspects of the role include:

• Responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of application in an assigned technology, major system, or functional area (Document Management, Information Management…).
• Provide assistance in analysis work leading to requirements/ specification, estimates and system designs.
• Participates in low level programming, system testing, documenting, system deployment, training and project set-up/ support, analyses, designs, with projects/ customers. Similar duties are associated with the installation and configuration of applications licensed third parties.
• Participate in selected aspects of system documentation, testing, implementation and maintenance.
• Project setup/ support for various applications often involving analysis, design.
• Installation and configuration of applications licensed 3rd parties.
• Train system users.
• Supports the project in creating a data centered execution technique that enables direct savings in schedule.
• Directly or indirectly handles day to day request for hardware or systems support.
• Arranges for system and IM education or training needs.
• Executes quality processes to ensure effective controls of both engineering data and the 3D model.
• Liaises with the Project Information Manager or Project Engineer.
• Job role has budgetary type of accountabilities or directly impacts a revenue center's viability or its quality of service via personal contributions.

Person Specification
• Has the ability to perform own work and provides assistance/support to others as directed.
• Requires relevant experience of Document Management or Information Technology and carries an understanding of the importance of document management to the customer.
• Appreciation of database performance over wide areas, server technologies, and other inter-dependencies such as Disaster Recovery procedures.
• Flexibility
• Strong verbal presentation & written communications.
• Self motivated
• Ability to prioritise and manage workload.
• Willingness to travel overseas for the short term assignment.
• Exposure to Engineering or project environment.
• Driving license advantageous.

Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree or equivalent in CS, MIS, BSc or Engineering and some relevant experience in Systems Development and/or Applications Support which includes experience in Analysis, Design, Programming, Production Selection, Maintenance and/or Support and a working knowledge of functional areas and associated application and Information Technologies.

Training is available to cover support of Internet connectivity, Documentum, AutoCad and other internal systems such as business objects.
