Web Developer / Web Editor with skills in HTML and CSS required for leading online insurance company located in Basildon, Essex. This company is a fast moving, technology and online company with several high profile websites serving key insurance markets across the UK. They are currently looking for a talented front end web developer / web editor to work as part of their web team. Day to day duties will include: - Implementing and tracking content updates across all of the companies websites websites. - Working with their web designer to implement design updates and changes. - QA testing of websites across all browsers. - Design of animated banners, marketing emails and other promotional material. - Opportunities to support our design and development team in the development of new websites. The client is seeking a candidate who has the following skills and experience: - Hand coding HTML and CSS to W3C standards - The ability to track and manage change processes & controls and to conduct QA testing. - An understanding of SEO techniques, usability and accessibility issues. - Design and layout skills. - A passion for the internet and understanding what drives traffic & website conversion. - Any Photoshop or Flash skills would be advantageous. The client is looking for a self motivated team player who can implement and co-ordinate updates and changes across a number of websites. Attention to detail is very important. They offer a fast moving, fun working environment with the opportunity for individuals to learn and develop their role with in the team. The salary on offer is £18K - £22K |
