Senior Consultant - Waste. Employer: GreenSearch UK. Location: Shrewsbury. Salary: £27,500 + Car and benefits package. A 'Senior Waste Consultant' is required by a market leading environmental consultancy in the UK. As Senior Waste Consultant requirements will be to provide advice to clients, both in the public and private sectors on waste management issues. Key responsibilities for this position will include: -Procurement of waste management services and contracts for the collection of waste. -Development of specific waste strategies. -Research based studies including preparation of output specifications, designs, tender and contract documents for integrated waste management facilities. Skills and experience required for the 'Waste Technical Manger' position are: -Degree level or equivalent in either engineering or environmental discipline. -Professional institution membership. (Institution of civil engineers -- Institution of wastes management.) -Waste procurement and contract management experience. -tPrevious experience in a consultancy environment or local authority preferred. The opportunity requires a positive, flexible person with attention to detail and ability in working within a team.
