Job Title: Supply Chain Manager - Essex
Job Description: Supply Chain Manager – Essex

This key role is to support the Procurement and Supply Chain Function, helping to develop the Supplier Management and Governance within this leading communications organisation.

Duties:

- Maintain and develop the supplier relationship function
- To create and manage suitable KPI's to ensure that group financial and performance based targets are met.
- To work with the Operation Efficiency Improvement Team on a program of Continuous Improvement with the aim of creating a World Class lean and agile supply chain
- Development of Staff and Supply Chain - Training, Development of processes and mentoring
- Auditing for both Internal Process compliance and Supplier Process Management and Development (throughout the Supply Chain)
- Understanding of Root Cause analysis and Problem Solving techniques
- Introduce Lean Principles where necessary into the Supply Chain

You will have solid experience in procurement and quality within a manufacturing organisation, experience in auditing, lean manufacturing, supplier relationship management (Six Sigma and knowledge of SC21/SBAC)

Experience of mentoring and developing staff and processes
IT literate with experience of MS Project, MS Visio and MS Office suite products
