Project Manager - Aerospace
Buckinghamshire Global aerospace leader seeks Project Manager to provide a single point of accountability for specific projects and are responsible for managing all resources to ensure customer satisfaction (quality, cost, delivery) and optimise financial returns for The Company. IT IS ESSENTIAL YOU HAVE PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE IN AN AEROSPACE OR MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY. Principal accountabilities Total accountability for all aspects of the project under his/her control and delivering the business cases. This includes: ·Projects Technical Performance ·Planning and Control ·Team Management ·Contract Management ·Safety and Reliability ·Procedural Adherence ·Internal rate of return ·Product Cost ·Project Cost ·Production Readiness ·In-Service Readiness ·Customer Satisfaction Personal Characteristics ·Demonstrated ability to deliver against key customer milestones and within project costs ·Degree Qualified or equivalent with relevant experience ·Possess excellent leadership, influencing and communication skills ·Emotionally resilient and able to drive projects effectively for excellence against demanding targets in a complex, multi-disciplined environment ·Committed to the effective personal development of all team members ·Proven track record in managing sophisticated technical activity, whilst retaining sharp focus on business outcomes. ·Must be experienced in managing customer facing projects. ·Strong influencing skills to ensure key deliverables are met. ·Must have experience working within a matrix structure ·Strong conflict management skills. ·Minimum of five years experience required. ·It is essential that the candidate has project management experience in an aerospace or manufacturing industry. ·Some international travel may be required from time to time. ·Experience of managing financially complex projects, with total project budgets equating to $m's IMPORTANT!
