Job Title: Interim Planning Manager
Job Description: A highly motivated Planning Manager is required for a fast-paced fresh food business who manufactures short shelf life products. Based in the Cambridgeshire area you will join the team as a Planning Manager working on an interim basis.

This is an interim project for a minimum of 7 months and you must be able to commit for a 7 month period in order to be considered for this vacancy.

As the Planning Manager you will take full responsibility of the planning team including the appraisals and development of planning staff. You will deal with the ongoing implementation, development and maintenance of the scheduling system, together with delivering continuous improvement ideas.

You will oversee all raw material and packaging requirements and stock control levels together with interpreting the short and medium term forecasts. You will work towards minimising wastage and ensure 100% customer service is maintained.

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous planning/scheduling experience preferably within chilled or fresh foods together with strong leadership experience. You will have the ability to analyse and translate complex data and present findings back in a clear manner.

You will have sound computer skills in particular Excel and Access. It is essential that you are highly organised, have good attention to detail and have strong problem solving abilities.

As this is a contract position it is essential that you are available immediately.
