DATS are looking for outstanding Business Consultants with a wide range of skills and knowledge of business transformation, preferably within the water industry, incorporating both a sound technical base and project delivery skills.
The Consultant will build Client relationships and understand their requirements to support formulation of appropriate solutions and take responsibility for the delivery of their Consultancy and IT Solutions using own expertise plus that in BSG team. Typical products/ services to be delivered include: * Business and regulatory strategy development * Business process optimisation and transformation * Knowledge transfer * Strategic investment planning * Asset management * IT strategy development * Implementation of IT systems * Identifying and documenting new applications and modifications * Compliance The role requires extensive travel throughout the UK usually working within their clients' offices and occasionally beyond, particularly with partners and suppliers. To be successful in this role you will possess; * First hand experience of business process and organisational change projects to achieve identifiable efficiencies and meet required levels of service * Through understanding and knowledge of process mapping techniques and organisational change practice * Ideally implementation of supporting IT systems to support business process change * Excellent client relationship management and business development skills, preferably developed within a consultancy environment, to grow revenue and profitability * Project management skills including ability to extract and understand Client requirements to lead solution development, building a Client focussed team to meet the needs of the Client, delivering to time, cost and quality parameters * Understanding of the regulatory environment, investment planning processes and business management within the UK utility business to contribute effectively to understanding requirements and solution development * Graduate with a significant number of years' practical experience of the water and wastewater industry * MBA or other business qualification/ experience preferred If you feel that you are the right person for this role then please forward your cV to lynn.whitehead@dats.co.uk |
