This global company based in Slough, Berkshire are looking for a Commercial Management Accountant to join them in their existing finance team.
This is a 12 month contract paying up to 28k Purpose of the position To provide budgetary and performance management, and establish accounting controls and actions that ensure the statutory accounts are correct, covering labour, overheads and fixed marketing costs. To actively control expenditure and provide analysis and reporting to support management decision making. Main Duties include: 2. Establish monthly reporting / reviews to follow forecast and actual expenditure for fixed costs and overheads, including the development of cost centre reporting. 3. Complete month end journals in line with statutory requirements and in liaison with DFC 4. Highlight, investigate and report on any variances between budget / forecast and actual expenditure 5. Regularly review all aspects of expenditure, identifying opportunities for cost reductions, and progressing these in conjunction with the budget holder and DA 6. Ensure all recharges to Groups companies, Succursales and tenants are actioned in a timely manner 7. Act as primary point of contact with regard to the Purchase Card system, and the validation of purchases made outside of the SMC system 8.
