Our client, specialising in the design and build of LNG tankage facilities requires a suitably qualified and experienced SENIOR ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER to be located at their Head Office in Darlington, UK.
Duties are to be responsible for the supervision and control of all Electrical Engineering and design activities including specification of capex spend equipment for projects in house to which the successful candidate may be assigned. Other responsibilities include the preparation of key design calculations and philosophy decisions with respect to electrical design works. The duties will include preparing of electrical aspects of proposals being prepared for various projects both in the UK and abroad, including estimating of capex costs, bulk material costs and design man-hours allocation, also assisting with installation man-hour estimating as required. Qualification min Electrical Honours Degree, Chartered status and corporate membership of IET. Minimum 10 years experience as Senior Electrical Design Engineer within the Oil & Gas and/or Petrochemical industry preferably including cryogenic material processing. |
