Job Title: Call Centre Manager
Job Description: A nationwide High Street Retailer is looking for an Operations Manager to manage the largest and busiest Manual Data Entry Centre (MDEC), with over 770 staff and a management team of 21, based in Plymouth.

As Call Centre Manager your primary objectives are:

Provide day to day operational leadership to shift managers at Plymouth MDEC

Lead responsibility for delivering day to day performance throughout Plymouth MDEC operations

Demonstrate motivational, exciting leadership, direction and customer-focus at operational level, encouraging performance excellence and enthusiasm for customer satisfaction

As Call Centre Manager your main responsibilities will be:

Contribute to the planning, development and deployment of strategic change initiatives within the production environment

Monitor shift by shift performance and drive improvements to business balanced scorecard results

Review daily production control teams outputs and steer operational teams to rectify performance leakages within 24 hours

Consistently champion a passion for customer satisfaction developing the shift teams' understanding of customer focus and the commercial imperative, and of the efficient handling of automated traffic through PLYMOUTH MDEC

Establish a trust-based working environment at team level to underpin change activities within PLYMOUTH MDEC, by championing front-line improvement opportunities in line with business goals

Consistently apply PLYMOUTH MDEC's IR framework by actively consulting employee representatives and developing commercial understanding, to create harmonious working conditions which focus operational efforts on performance improvement

As Call Centre Manager you will have the following to offer our client:

Business related qualification highly desirable

A proven track record of managing a large operational unit, either in the call centre or data entry environments

A track record of effectively managing, developing and coaching employees at all levels to build capability to World Class standards within PLYMOUTH MDEC

Ability to demonstrate leadership behaviours to develop a positive and pro active attitude at every level

A dedicated and hard working individual who consistently achieves demonstrably high level performance standards
