Software Developers with VB and Classic ASP or ASP.net and C# development skills, combined with SQL ideally SQL Server are required in Harpenden Hertfordshire by a world leading company developing complex online services / systems for Human Resources departments of blue chip organisations.
This is an excellent chance to further your development skills with current projects using a mixture of ASP.net and C#, Classic ASP, VB, SQL and SQL Server, and skills in HTML, XML, XSL, and Javascript would also be desirable. The role requires a solid understanding of Microsoft platforms and web applications and you will be able to work on full lifecycle multiple projects at the same time working to agreed timescales and ensuring components are verified and unit tested thoroughly. A strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle is essential and experience of working within a software house / vendor environment would be ideal, as would skills in source code control. As an individual you will be a team player with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn new technologies and techniques.
