Project Controller – Basildon Essex
As a Project Controller you will support projects and bids this communication & Defence organisation, including project planning, earned value, risk and opportunity management, project status reporting. Responsibilities: - As a member of the project team you will support projects and bids, provide the tools to maintain this control and where appropriate develop members in the projects to take on these control tasks. - Provide support for projects and bids. - Developing project and engineering development schedules within MS Project - Conducting schedule analysis based on sound estimating and the inclusion of schedule risk - Maintaining and updating the schedules in time for internal project reviews - Reporting progress on the schedule and assisting the Project Managers in generating the project monthly report - Implementing and reporting of Earned Value Management on the major programmes - Assist the Project Manager in the population and maintenance of the project risk register - Facilitate the gathering and presentation of the Resource Demand for each of the projects in line with company processes - Previous experience in working in a project environment or defence industry would be beneficial - A strong understanding and background in the planning process and how to generate plans from scratch, including logic, estimates of duration and effort, inclusion of risk and schedule analysis - Proficient in MS Project, MS Excel and other MS applications |
