Job Title: Operational Support Administrator
Job Description: This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well known media organisation. You will become part of a large, established team and receive excellent training within your role.
Your duties in this role will be:
Handle a variety of administration issues for internal or external customers i.e. the general public, contractors, local authorities with patience, courtesy and in an effective manner, ensuring a genuine commitment to customer service
Identify potential issues within Operational Support and use problem solving skills to monitor, investigate and resolve
Take ownership of administrative tasks within Company Guidelines, procedures, contractual agreements and current relevant legislation, escalating any issues where resolution is unobtainable
To participate in continual assessment and review of all working practices and procedures
To deputise, where appropriate, for the Senior Officer in their absence and deal with any situation accordingly
In order to be successful in this role you will need:

Ideally you will have experience of working within Administration or equivalent with proven skills
You must have good PC / keyboard skills and be competent in the use of database and email systems
You must be able to work as part of a team and be able to demonstrate resourcefulness
You must have excellent oral & written communication skills
An eye for detail is essential, as well as the ability to digest and manipulate data, drawing conclusions and generating objective recommendations
You must be able to operate within strict timescales and meet deadlines, with the capacity to adapt to changing requirements as necessary
There is the potential for this role to become permanent

This role is based 25 minutes from the nearest train starting-it is essential that candidates are able to drive
