Software Engineer C++ / Java Large Defence and Aerospace company are seeking a Software Engineer for the development of Mission Management software, including requirements analysis, software design, implementation, verification and integration. Experience of development of SW requirements, with a detailed understanding and experience of full software development lifecycle is essential.You will need good experience with Software Modelling and be skilled in Software Design using UML, coupled with strong Software Implementation experience using C++ and/or Java. Previous experience of Military SW development would be beneficial. Desirable experience includes: requirements engineering using DOORS, SW Architectural design, Oracle 9i/10g database development, Data Modelling, Rose/Rhapsody experience (are all desirable). The successful candidate will need to have good technical Software Engineering skills, be a team-player, be reliable and ensure timely delivery, to cost targets and at an appropriate quality level.
