Due to a period of unprecidented growth this young energetic specialist subcontractor, within the Social Housing arena in the South East, is now looking for a Managing Surveyor to join the commercial team.
Candidates will have a minimum of 5 years Quantity Surveying within a major contractor environment. In addition you must be able to work on your own initiative and demonstrate a sound track record of delivering full range of Surveying / Commercial Management skills. You will be a relationship builder and decision maker, bringing your sound commercial acumen and competency when introducing effective business strategies. As the managing Surveyor, you will also be responsible for the management of a team of surveyors and offer support to the project teams on commercial matters. The company is a great believer in training and development of its staff and require the managing surveyor facilitate staff development of the team. A construction related degree BSc/ HND or equivalent is desirable but knowledge is key, along with an enthusiastic, committed, ambitious and hard working attitude.
