Position: Market Analyst – Drinks Industry
Location: North West, Stockport, Cheshire, SK1 3AZ Salary: £14,000 To £18,000 Depending on experience Plus incentive scheme Delivering the complete on-trade picture Our client is the UK’s leading consultancy serving drinks producers and retailers – offering market information, industry analysis and strategic insight. After a number of recent account wins they are seeking talented individuals to help take the company forward. They are looking for ambitious, gifted all-rounders prepared to do the groundwork for their clients, capable of interpreting data and able to step up to account management when the time is right. The role of the market analyst is to manipulate and interpret data from the companies product portfolio in order to uncover and deliver relevant insight to clients. The job requires an individual with data analysis skills who also has the ability to communicate at all levels with excellent time management and organisational skills. Working alongside an account manager and account director the analyst will attend client meetings and produce presentations that help identify competitive advantages and assist in the strategic decision making processes of clients within the companies portfolio. The company thrives on tough questions, so you will need to tackle issues such as: What’s the future of wine in the pub trade? How many nightclubs will there be in England in 2012?
