Shift Manager required for leading manufacturing company based in Castleford.
Are you a results driven Shift manager with proven background in the food / manufacturing / production industry? Are you looking for a challenging contract with a leading company? The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in man-management and will take charge of a team of 50+ staff. You will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing staff performance and ensuring staff morale and motivation is consistently high. Responsibilities also include all aspects of Budget management, continuous improvements. Applicants will need to provide proof of numerate GCSE/A level Maths results or a degree with a strong numerical emphasis preferable in Engineering. Activities to include:- Performance Drive - measurement & analysis of information, inc. wastage, output, labour, quality, hygiene, health & safety - generating and implementing improvement plans. Staff Management - Appraisals, Discipline and Grievances, Addressing team development and training requirements. Skills / Experience (Essential) * Previous Management Experience. * Background in high volume, high speed or FMCG Environment. * Thorough understanding of KPIs, Budgets and factory operations. * Intermediate Food Hygiene Qualification (Desirable). * Experience within the Food Industry an advantage. Shift Pattern:- 12hr rotational shifts - 4on 4off roster or Double Days Shifts - however flexibility will be required during peak seasons. Salary:- £35 - £40K plus excellent benefits package incl. pension |
