A leading company in the computer games industry is currently recruiting for a Junior Operations Manager to join there company based in Brentford. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a worldwide leader in interactive entertainment both inside and outside of the home.
POSITION OVERVIEW: The Junior Operations Manager will be responsible for assisting the Operations Manager in the day to day running of all Operational areas including the implementation and management of processes. In the execution of the role, the position will work closely with the development, Product Development, Network Operations, Customer Support, Community and other service teams. This is not a technical role but familiarity with technical concepts pertaining to web, e-commerce and online gaming as well as service management skills will be required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assist in the monitoring of key operational processes and policies - Assist in the documentation of all processes and policies - Coordinate activities and smooth flow of information between development, technical, co-location, support and service-oriented teams for problem resolution or service deployment. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: - Strong communication skills - Experience in the operational management of a diverse range of online service based products - Good at working to tight deadlines - Excellent organisation skills - Candidates who are educated to degree level will be highly regarded.
