Title : Electrical Building Services Engineer
Salary: up to £11 - £14 per hour, dependant on experience Location: Telford, Shropshire Keywords: Electrician, Engineer, Installation, Maintenance Our client has been established within the industry since 1994. The company works along side the National Britannia Safe Contractor scheme within our service industry standards. They work both locally and nationally throughout the UK based from our offices in Telford, Shropshire. Their main principal tasks within the industry are as follows: •Building and Property Small works maintenance •Painting and Decorating •Plumbing and Heating •Carpentry and Joinery Services •A 24 hour Window and Boarding up services and return re-glazing visits •Building services contracts •Refurbishment Projects They are now looking to recruit a full time commercial based electrical/building services engineer to assist in our expanding installation and maintenance division. Responsibilities will include: A broad knowledge of installation and maintenance of electrical systems within the commercial sector is a requirement of this position. The candidate needs to be able to deal with all aspects of installation works, periodic preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance breakdowns and electrical testing. Suitable candidates must possess: The acceptance to travel is essential to this position as the company operates mainly in the Midlands area however they also operate further afield wherever their customers request them to attend within the UK. The candidate must be self motivated and have a working knowledge of the 16th Edition wiring regulations with the applicant holding City and Guilds 2381 certification or NVQ equivalent. Knowledge of the completion of NICEIC testing and inspection certification is necessary with the appliance holding City and Guilds 2391 certification or equivalent.
