Company profile: Combining the values of nearly 200 year’s experience and the technology and resources of the 21 century, our Client now builds and manages projects ranging from small developments to multi-million pound projects for all sectors of business and industry. • Commercial • Education • Retail • Residential • Industrial • Leisure • Health and Pharmaceutical Salary: negotiable Location: Stansted, Essex Job Description: •Cost planning of work packages, including benchmarking of rates, creation of rates from first principles, preparation of cost plans. •Reviewing and advising the client of effective procurement processes. •Undertake pre and post contract management, utilising the NEC suite of contracts. •Taking a lead role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages. Specialist Skill Sets Required: • Must be able to provide a high quality technical/commercial service from pre-contract to final account • To have and maintain a high level of understanding of appropriate costs, codes, standards and specifications • To demonstrate a high level of financial / technical knowledge in meeting the business and client objectives • To have the ability to identify the appropriate financial solutions to problems and produce the supporting documentation • The ideal candidate will have experience in the following fields: •Knowledge of various procurement routes. •Ability to write commercial management strategies and procedures. •Cost planning.
