Job Title: HR Officer
Job Description: Our client, located in Darlington, Co. Durham, UK, specialises in the design and build of LNG tankage facilities on a worldwide basis.

They require a suitably qualified and experienced HR Officer to provide an efficient HR service to the business.

The successful candidate must be able to -
- carry out general HR administration.
- diary management.
- filing,
- deal with front-line HR enquiries.
- carry out general support service for HR Manager.
- recruitment
- day to day dealing with agencies and internal clients.
- screening CVs.
- assisting with interview process.

Skills required:-
- effective interviewing and selection
- good interpersonal skills, ability to build up and maintain relationships.
- knowledge of employment legislation.
- ability to manage Disciplinary and Grievance Procedures.
- ability to problem solve.
- good communication skills at all levels.

A CIPD qualification is preferred but not essential, however experience in a similar role is essential, with experience of Oil & Gas industry recruitment desirable.

This is an interim appointment for an initial period 6 months however the position could become permanent.
