PROJECT MANAGER
PROJECT CONTROLS MANAGER MICROSOFT PROJECT LOCATION: Based in North Wales RATES . Estimate between £25-35/ hr Ltd but negotiable. COMPANY INFORMATION Our client is a major international manufacturer based in UK and US. They have an exciting programme of new product development which has lead to this need for additional project management skills. MUST HAVE. Minimum of five years project management experience in product development. Strong project management skills and background. Excellent communication skills. Experience leading cross-functional teams. Experience with Microsoft Project software. Excellent communication skills and be able to work with people at all levels of the organisation Able to deliver objective views of project issues to facilitate resolution with minimal impact to time lines or resource allocations IDEALLY HAVE Degree in engineering or science preferred PMP certification is a plus. Post-graduate education is a plus. THE ROLE The candidate will be expected to lead cross-functional teams in the development of new products in the area of medical / pharmaceutical industry. Will play a key role in developing project plans and schedules for multiple projects. Will facilitate the statement and management of project scope, objectives, constraints, risks, milestones, and time lines. Will identify responsibilities and required resources to meet project objectives. Will act as a central hub for communication of project status and issues within the team and to management. . Will be able to facilitate team-building to push teams to higher levels of performance. Will be expected to develop expertise in the Product Development & Launch Process (PDLP) and act as a subject matter expert for other members of the organisation. Will be expected to understand the the client's organisational structure, corporate culture, and individual work styles to maximise team and organisational effectiveness.
