Our client is one of Europe’s largest suppliers, with an annual turnover in excess of € 10 billion for the whole Group across our six core business areas of Aerospace, Air Systems, Land and Joint Systems, Naval, Security and Services. Base salary is between £28k-35k per annum. Key Tasks To further support the BU by providing commercial guidance on compliance with contract requirements and actively pursuing the achievement of contract terms and milestones whilst always identifying and exploiting commercial opportunities from changes in scope and requirements To manage and be responsible for commercial and contractual aspects of bids and contracts as allocated To lead and/or support the negotiation of new contracts and other business activities including contractual arrangements with other companies (teaming/partnership etc.) Technical & Professional skills Essential: -Contractual experience or similar or equivalent -Full understanding of commercial risks and liabilities -Experience of drafting proposals, contract terms and agreements -Administration of contracts or sub contracts Desirable: -Detailed knowledge of UK MoD contract terms and Export contracting. -Negotiation experience, ideally in a lead role |
