We have an immediate requirement for a Production Engineer for a fixed term of up to 6 months to work in our CMA (Complex Mechanical Assemblies) team.
The duties for this role will include the following: - Interpret customer documentation (BOM, specifications, drawings, assembly and test schedules) to ensure a robust manufacturing process - Creation of manufacturing processes for machining components, production of sub-assemblies and associated gauging tooling (including CMM programmes) - Fully validating all products and manufacturing processes in accordance with TMUK and customer procedures - Maintain, support and control routings, sketch sheets, CNC programs, tool and gauge management systems - Provide technical support to production improvement requirements and ensure timely close out of engineering actions - Coordinate and maintain NCR process - Review all customer product and specification change documentation and ensure the changes are interpreted and implemented into documentation system and manufacturing processes - Generate all details for manufacturing costs for quotations The ideal candidate will have: - Minimum of HNC in Mechanical Engineering - Experience of Auto CAD and/or Solid Works - Worked in a similar role within the aerospace industry, with experience of CNC machining centres and industrialisation/production process - IT literate, possibly with experience of SAP - Well organised and self-motivated individual with good communication skills and attention to detail Please forward all C.V's to matt.odell@amiqus.com |
