This is an exciting opportunity to join a large international engineering company based at their Lincoln site. My client has been established over 60 years and is an industry leader in the design, engineering and manufacturing of adjustable and fixed brake pedal modules, electronic throttle controls as well as latches and door handles for the transportation industry.
Due to continued expansion they are now looking to recruit a CAD Design Engineer. Prospective candidates need to be experienced in 3D modelling and of complex assemblies using CATIA V5 software. Knowledge of IDEAS and/or CATIA V4 would be beneficial. The successful candidate will be a degree qualified or equivalent engineer. Expected to; design and develop pedal box assemblies, along with completing relevant internal and external documentation, including 2D drawings, DFMEA's test plans, APQP and other Automotive OEM specific documents. Experience working with metals and plastic components and assemblies along with an understanding of process techniques for metal pressing, MIG/resistance welding and high volume assembly would be a distinct advantage. Able to work as part of a team and be an excellent communicator. In return for the above they offer a competitive salary and benefits package including a relocation allowance where appropriate.
