Title: Operations Manager
Salary: £25k – Dependant upon experience Location: Scarborough, North Yorkshire Keywords: Operations, Food and Beverage, Functions, Events, Wedding, Management. Our client is a hotel dramatically situated in the North Yorkshire Moors national park, 600 feet above sea level, overlooking Robin Hood's Bay. The village of Ravenscar has a long and turbulent history dating back to the fifth century when the Romans built a fort on this very site. The hotel is now looking to recruit an Operations Manager to join the team. Responsibilities will include: •To raise standards levels in all departments to achieve a 80% AA 3 Star rating. In particular levels of service in Housekeeping, Bars, Front of House, Night Service and Restaurant. •To raise levels of cleanliness throughout the hotel. •To plan and oversee all functions (including conferences, dinners and wedding etc). •To achieve budgeted cost percentages for labour, liquor and housekeeping supplies and laundry. •To act as Personnel Manager overseeing the welfare of all staff members. In conjunction with the General Manager to acquire appropriate staff, oversee their induction and to ensure appropriate documentation is provided and created. Ensure suitable uniforms are always provided and maintained. •To ensure appropriate levels of discipline are maintained. •To deputise for the General Manager in their absence. Suitable candidates must possess: •Ambitious to develop into more senior positions within the coming years. •At least two years experience in a management position in hotels of similar size and style. •Capable of integrating into a close-knit cohesive team in a hotel operated as though it were a privately owned establishment. •A requirement to join a company on a long-term basis Do not miss out on this Fantastic opportunity, Apply NOW! |
