The Company:
With over 500 branches across the country our client is one of the UK's leading supplier of timber/building products and toolhire to the trade and general public. The Role: ·Maintain and improve the excellent standard of customer care ·To take ownership of the direction of the businesses in the depot or depots that they are responsible. ·Achieve and be responsible for the profitable running of the depot /s under their control. ·To take ownership of all costs and to be constantly striving to reduce them. ·To liase with their Area Manager to ensure that they are satisfied with the level of service being delivered. ·Responsible for the security of the company's plant and assets that belong to the depots under their control. ·Management and development of all employees reporting to them. ·To comply with the company's Personnel, Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety procedures. The role is comprehensive, and you will oversee sales, operational, service, and staffing matters. With P&L responsibility you will have the opportunity to make a difference, with all the back-up you need from a great brand name. The Candidate: Management experience or experience from within the hire industry is desirable, and you will be able to demonstrate success from your previous posts. In addition, the successful applicant will have a strong work ethic, customer focus, and high standards of professionalism.
