Finance Assistant - Stratford St Mary - Colchester - Essex - salary £18K - £20K+ Fantastic Benefits Package
FINANCE ASSISTANT COLCHESTER, ESSEX 18k - 20k We are looking for a Finance Assistant to work for one of our high profile clients in Colchester, Essex. The Role - You will be part of a busy finance team that maintains top quality management accounts and delivers first class management information to the company`s Board and to the Holding Company Board. - As Finance Assistant you will provide key support to the Accounts Manager and work alongside the Finance team in the processing of these accounts. - You will obtain a working knowledge of SOP and assist with Sales and Purchase Ledgers. - You will process bank transaction postings and reconciliations. - You will process nominal journals and vat journals. - You will assist in the preparing of monthly accounts to trial balance. - You will prepare spreadsheet analysis for reporting purposes. - You will also assist with the preparation of Payroll, P11d and Paye settlement agreement analysis at year end. - You will assist with preparing vat and EC vat returns. - You will assist with preparing monthly pension, health insurance and annual life insurance analysis. - In addition to the specific elements above you will be an integral member of the finance team, providing help and assistance within the department as required. Skill/Ability requirements - Demonstrable, successful experience in all aspects of the role - Strong administration and organisational skills - Keen accuracy and attention to detail - Good computer skills - Able to work effectively under pressure and to a high quality. - Ability to learn and retain at a high volume This is an excellent opportunity to join an award winning company that values and develops its employees.
