A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work for a leading debt recovery organisation based in Cleckheaton. The company is undergoing expansion in their pre-legal collections department and is therefore looking for experienced collectors to go into a full time permanent position with them to start 07/07/08.
Responsibilities include: - Collection of pre-legal and/or legal debt via the telephone and letter. - Ensuring all communications are in line with company policies, standards and procedures. - Managing clients and debtor relations as appropriate. - Managing accounts to negotiate the best possible payments from customers by letter and telephone - Chasing missed payments by letter and telephone - Analysing financial statements - Maintaining accurate records for each account of all correspondence and conversations. - Ad hoc requirements as requested by Supervisor. - Achieving individual / team target. - Meeting deadlines in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will: ˇHave previous experience of collections over the phone is essential ˇBe able to demonstrate good negotiating and numeric skills ˇHave excellent communications skills ˇBe computer literate ˇBe able to organise and prioritise workload ˇHave the drive to rise to the challenge In reward you will be entitled to: ˇ25 days holiday ˇOption to buy and sell holidays ˇPension scheme ˇFree onsite parking |
