We are a company involved in Haulage and Warehousing, with our Head Office in Rochester, Kent. We operate approximately 100 vehicles based at Rochester.
We are seeking a Load Planner/Traffic Scheduler to work within our busy Traffic Team based at Rochester, reporting to the Transport Manager. Applicants must have previous experience of load scheduling, ideally within a General Haulage environment dealing with flatbed, curtainsided and abnormal load traffic. You will also have experience of vehicle scheduling systems and be fully IT literate. Main responsibilities will include. ·Day to day routing and planning of the fleet. ·Maximising vehicle utilisation to its fullest potential, while pro-actively seeking new opportunities to improve. ·Ensuring that Company and Health & Safety policy are adhered to. A national CPC would be an advantage but not essential. Hours of work are approximately 55 hours per week, working on an early and late shift system. There will also be a need to work some Saturday mornings. This is a challenging role within a dynamic organisation, offering good terms and conditions for an ambitious individual, as the successful applicant will be given every opportunity to develop into a senior role within the group. Based in Rochester. |
