Prime responsibilities and duties
• Provide O & M technical support and advice to design teams • Quantification, qualification and completion of O & M development activities and workscopes • Life cycle costing, Maintainability/Availability Reviews • Ensure maintenance activities are completed within schedule and within budget • Assign or undertake other roles and responsibilities, within competence, of other designated roles within the organisation Experience • Good knowledge of offshore equipment, systems and associated legislation • Good knowledge of availability and reliability modeling • Good knowledge of maintenance strategy development, tools and techniques • Good knowledge of industry best maintenance practice • Good knowledge of CMMS structures preferably SAP Qualifications/Training Desirable; • Engineering Degree in a relevant discipline plus proven track record of maintenance experience within the Oil & Gas industry • HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline Essential • Alternative to above - In lieu of formal technical qualifications, candidate may offer extensive experience in offshore maintenance with an auditable track record of consistently good performance. They will have recently held a senior / supervisory maintenance engineering role • Specialist knowledge of at least one of the following: RCM (reliability centred maintenance), RAM (reliability availability and maintainability modeling), criticality analysis, whole life costing • Computer literate • Current BOSIET / Medical Certification |
