GRADUATE THERMAL AND COMBUSTION ENGINEER
LOCATION: Derby SALARY AND BENEFITS: £20,000 - £25,000 Dependant on Experience + additional Company Benefits Our client sets the benchmark for innovative, environmentally friendly technologies in the world of power and rail transport infrastructure. They have built the fastest train and the highest capacity automated metro in the world and provides turnkey integrated power plant solutions and associated services for a wide variety of energy sources, including hydro, coal, oil, gas and biomass fuels. As A Graduate Design Engineer you will follow a development programme, you will gain a thorough understanding of our clients business through key placements, aimed at developing your technical, business and personal skills. You will be also be expected to undertake site visits both in the UK and overseas. They offer its customers a complete range of innovative components, systems and services covering design and manufacture as well as commissioning and long-term maintenance and has unique expertise in systems integration, management of turnkey projects and application of advanced technologies. The company offers a complete package of products and services for the power generation industry worldwide. These include power plant upgrades, capacity increase projects, fuel conversions, dedicated biomass systems, and low NOx combustion systems. Control of NOx is achieved both by individual burner design and by control of the combustion process. Based in Derby, essentially the successful Graduate Design Engineer will: - *Possess an accredited mechanical, chemical or energy related engineering degree, with a bias towards power generation. *Will ideally have gained some relevant industrial experience. *Be experienced in basic IT skills *Be flexible and have good interpersonal and communication skills *Possess the personal characteristics to build relationships both internally and externally. *Have a clean driving license This Vacancy has been advertised by Evolution Personnel Technical Division, specialists in the technical and engineering fields. |
