Position: IT Software Development Divisional Head / Development Manager
Location: Stockport, Cheshire Salary: £Competitive Salary + Benefits CDL is a leading supplier of software solutions to the UK insurance sector, providing our clients with the competitive edge in an increasingly aggressive marketplace. We are now seeking an influential Senior Manager to provide the strategic direction and vision to our software development division. Inspirational leadership is very much the order of the day, harnessing and focussing the enormous creative potential of our programming and development teams. This is an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate to join CDL in a high profile board level position with responsibility for a division of 70 people. You will have the determination and motivation to make a real difference and will be given every chance to do so. This role is commercially critical in recognising, implementing and leading innovations to ensure that the delivery of our software exceeds the expectations of our prestigious client base. With a strong management team to support you, you will ensure that the division is equipped with the necessary skills, methods and motivation to achieve demanding business targets. Experience: Educated to degree level or equivalent, you are likely to have significant proven ability as a Senior Manager, preferably in a software development environment and be able to demonstrate your achievements in similar roles. You will undoubtedly be a dynamic personality and be able to work in a complex, changing environment, providing clarity of direction and communication. With a supportive, enthusiastic and visual leadership style you will possess an exceptional level of interpersonal skill and flexibility, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
