Job Title: Sales Manager
Job Description: Working for my client, a market leading mobile phone retailer, your role will be to lead and coach a small team of sales advisors, interact with customers and demonstrate and sell the full range products and services on offer. You will also be responsible for the day to day operation of the mobile area, including sales performance, display standards, housekeeping and stock management.You and your team must provide a level of customer service and care which is commensurate with the brands expectations, whilst also ensuring that your team are maximising each sales opportunity within your store.


Key Responsibilities
·To maximise all sales opportunities by coaching your team to adopt a proactive selling approach.
·Interpret sales data to drive your team to achieve sales targets for the store by agreeing individual targets and monitoring performance through individual and team briefings.
·Provide guidance through coaching, training and sharing best practice.
·Manage individual performance as required through use of available resource and support, in conjunction with the Regional Manager.
·To achieve and deliver any agreed additional key performance indicators.
·To achieve and respond to agreed deadlines.
·To support and achieve agreed company and personal objectives.
·To deliver the highest standards of customer service excellence.
·To enthusiastically deal with all customer enquiries.
·Provide sales reports and trading information as required.
·To act as point of contact in absence of the Regional Manager when required.
·To accurately convey the company proposition and appropriately react to customer needs.
·Implement and maintain plannogram compliance on store presentation and housekeeping with regard to visual merchandising and promotional/campaign offers.
·Ensure all stock is accurately managed according to company procedures.
·Report feedback to Regional Manager on customer activity, footfall and response to promotional initiatives as required.
·To ensure relevant Company and Regional communications are cascaded to the team.
·To communicate effectively with a range of internal and external departments and colleagues, including the Regional Manager.
·Develop a productive and professional relationship with management and staff.
·To be aware of and comply with procedures and policies including security / Health & Safety etc.
·Any other reasonable activities in accordance with the needs of the business.
