Part of a leading UK Construction Company, this sub division requires an Accounts Assistant based at their site in Chawston, Bedfordshire. The role will include weekly payroll, general ledger reconciliation and analysis including WIP and operated plant, labour allocations and year end PAYE and P11d calculations. You will have good general ledger experience and at least 3 years working payroll knowledge; excellent Excel skills (able to use Macros) and perhaps be in your final year of AAT. This is a new role with room for further development for the right candidate. You will have the ability to manage pressure and work to strict deadlines. The candidate must be able to communicate at all levels, be an enthusiastic individual who can bring new ways of working to the team. Our client will support any additional training needs. The accounts system will be changing to Coins shortly.
