Our client is a leading player is the SOA Governance/Integration market. They are looking for skilled Senior Sales Executive to join their team in the UK.
The Senior Sales Executive will be focused on selling into the banking/finance space and will possess strong domain knowledge within this vertical market. The Senior Sales Executive will ideally have some knowledge and experience of financial messaging protocols such as SWIFT, FpML and FIX. The Senior Sales Executive will be new business focused and will be well versed in creating need and value rather than purely selling products that fill a need. The Senior Sales Executive will need to possess hunger for success and will obviously need to be very driven and tenacious in their approach. If the Senior Sales Executive has some formal sales training then this is always useful but the most important factor is that you have a strong track record of target achievement/over achievement. If the Senior Sales Executive has worked for another player in this space such as Tibco, Software AG, IBM etc then this could certainly be interesting but the main driver is for candidates to possess the strong FS domain knowledge from either having worked for a financial services focused vendor or one that sells into FS as part of a broader customer base.
