| Job Description: | This Groundworks contractor is currently looking for a project level Groundwork's Quantity Surveyor in the Plymouth area. Projects include residential, commercial and industrial work ranging from £500k - £2m. Work is within a 50 mile radius of the Plymouth office. The role will involve reporting to the Senior Surveyor and/or the Commercial Manager; you will also feed into the main Quantity Surveyor dealing with the build process. Duties will include material and subcontract procurement and management; cost planning, budget forecasting and workload forecasting. Within this role there is the opportunity to progress to senior level and to grow with the department. Groundwork experience with a civil contractor is essential in order to join the company and be able to take hold of the role. For this contractor qualifications are not as important as experience. | ||
