A new opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Product Manager within the retail sector to assist the Product Manger in managing, co-ordinating and developing the Ireland portfolio. You will be part of a small, dedicated team focused on format optimisation within Ireland. Based in Redditch this role will involve frequent travel to Ireland.
The new team will be responsible for promoting efficiency across this portfolio and ensuring a consistent and appropriate customer offer. As the 'champions' of product, price, service and brand across Irish stores you will need strong communication and influencing skills and be a highly organised individual with solid project management experience. As an Assistant Product Manager you will support the Product Manager in negotiations, pricing, developing and implementing promotional initiatives, developing the product range, assessing the competition and evaluating the trading performance on a daily and weekly basis. Essential to success in the role will be the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues at Redditch and in Ireland. You will be a confident, highly driven commercial thinker with the ability to work on your own initiative and at pace. This is an excellent opportunity for involvement in both a new and a growing area. Assisting in managing a different market and a different customer base, this role will both develop and challenge you, increasing your commercial skill base and enhancing all competencies of an Assistant Product Manager. |
