This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Purchase Administrator.
Role summary: To ensure on time delivery of product s to meet agreed schedules in line with customer requirements. This role includes working with internal sources. The primary objective of the role is to provide full administrative support to the order management function/personnel. Principle Accountability's: • Work with the module team and order management personnel to meet agreed customer delivery dates. • Load customer orders and send acknowledgments to customer. • Liaison with the module team to ensure that information is released in a timely manner to the customer. • Manage module activity through planned production schedules. • Risk Analysis – Identification and resolution of issues in order to meet commitments • To maintain the agreed plan. Personal Characteristics •Ability to work with the minimum of supervision within the order management team. •2 or more years experience in either : •A customer focused environment. •Order processing arena. •Demonstrated high level of ability and aptitude •Practical knowledge of a computer based order management system. •Good PC skills; using Internet based tools, Word and Excel. •Demonstrated problem solving skills •Good communication and interpersonal skills •The ability to read and understand customer purchase orders •A technical background would be an advantage. •Be focused and have a good work ethic. •Flexibility in responding to varying customer and business demands.
