Our client, a national construction business delivering services from Local Construction Offices, giving an overall national brand but with a local identity. They are also renowned for our strong people focused culture, superb learning and development programmes, and the preference to promote from within wherever possible.
The company's current workload comes from a number of sectors – Local Authorities, Education, Health, Leisure & Fitness, National Government, Food Retail, and Hotels. They have achieved over the last few years a leading position in the ‘best value' market and hold a leading position as a partnering constructor. From there offices based in Hertfordshire, our client are currently seeking a Senior Enviromental Manager. The ideal candidate would ideally be IEMA accredited or have a relevant qualification in Enviromental management, and would also idealy be in a similar position at present. Responsibilities will include ensuring the production of enviromental plans for all projects, by helping develop and ensuring all compliance with enviromental best practise. Other duties will include the ensuring and full understanding of current & future enviromental legistation, as well as ensuring site enviromental plans and the waste management plans are produced and compliant with the EMS as well as advise on any amendments.
