Duties include: To ensure that all production requirements are met and continuously identifying
areas for improvement. To provide direction and support to the team, managing and facilitating their performance and development. Ensuring departmental structure and skills are developed to meet changing requirements. Regular training and development. To ensure department manned and skilled to the appropriate levels. To deliver production at agreed target levels and continuously identify areas for improvement. To identify changes in process/method that will lead to productivity Improvement. Ensure all disciplinary and absence management issues in the department are managed in accordance with procedures. To develop communication between and within shifts and departments. 100% achievement of the production plan.
